Question regarding Josie Maran set of 3 body butters

I received my order for Josie Maran set of three body butters item A301261, I noticed that none of the jars had the seals, is this something new not having the seal? It looks like one of the jars had been opened already.

The 8 oz. sizes never have seals. I have received many of them and the body butter always looks kind of a mess, because of shifting and how they have been laying. I don't know why they aren't sealed, but that just seems to be how it is for that size.   The 4 oz. sizes, however, are always sealed, so doesn't really make any sense.
