Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Thanks for the info. I will look it up before I purchase the Dr. Denese.

You don't want to use HQRA+ unless you have discoloration. Its primary function to treat melasma and lighten skin. It seems you want to improve the texture of your skin. Plus it contains a low dose corticosteroid as an active which you really don't want to take unless you have to for medical reasons. One of the possible side effects of this med is the development of dark spots on the skin along with others. I'd not even think about taking this without first checking with a derm. You are better off with the Dr. D TSV or just purchasing Retina. I also recommend the PMD device A231218. It rocks!

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Thanks Susandee. True, texture, lines and firmness are my primary concern. Always wondered about PMD. Wasn't sure about the durability of the unit. I will look into it.

The Serious Skincare products do not compare to Dr. Denese's line. I have used both and in my mind, there is just no comparison. SSC is cheaper but not as good a quality in my opinion. This TSV is a steal! And her facial pads are wonderful too.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Susandee: That is why it is a prescription. As far as developing dark spots, that is why I use it, I have the dark spots and they lighten them.

My post states, I have Vitaliago and it is a condition where your cells don't produce any longer. I had olive complextion, sorry for spelling, no spell check here anymore. Anyway, I am trying to lighten the dark spot above my lip, but found it helps the texture of my skin. I am happy with it, but to each their own. Been using for awhile, stopped and when Muraid didn't work, went back to this product.

I have the TSV products. Love the serum to soften skin, did not care for eye cream like EL better, and found nothing happening with the retnol firming serum. I also use Dr. Perricone, and some help and some not so much. You pick and chose what is best for your skin. We know we are looking for that miracle cream, not there, do the best you can and then, if you can afford it, the fillers and botox. That is what really makes a difference. Need to use creams, but nothing stops or takes away wrinkles. Trust me, at 78 I have the experience with all brands. Yea for Botox and Juvederm.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

qvcaddition-I am glad it works for you. My friend also suffers from the same condition, I will mention this to her. I am not sure what she currently uses. Fortunately, discoloration for me is pretty mild. It is my pores and lines that are becoming more apparent now that I am over 40.

I will definitely order the Dr. Denese and take a break from SSC.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

Jenmarieb, tell your friend, over the counter lighting stuff does not work, I have tried so many with their claims. This is the only cream that worked for me and it's prescription. Murad makes a claim, I tried and it got worse. This stuff helped my pores. I am 78 and a I stated above, tried a lot of brands. One good thing about caring for your skin, the wrinkles are not real deep when you are older, oppose to those that don't take care of their skin with any brand. Dr. D is a very good brand. I think better than Perricone.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

I will tell her. Glad to hear Dr. D is better than Perricone, because me and Perricone are a no-go! Perricone broke me out, and they did nothing for my skin. For the amount I spent, I was really disappointed. I am glad it work well for others.

I tried Murad and it worked but only to a small degree. I've used several items from Perricone but boy howdy when I tried Formula 15 I ended up at the doctor. Broke me out. I was wonderfing how Dr. D serum is compared to Tatcha serum.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

I have used the firming serum in today's TSV since it was first introduced. I am never without it. I saw improvement almost immediately. I also started by using every other day only at night. I still use every other day and using Triple Strength cream the other day. I love this serum! It is one of her best products. In fact the TSV is a great buy.

Re: Question on Dr. Denese TSV.

I will sometimes venture out and try different products, but I keep coming back to Dr. Denese. Hydroshield is a must have for me and now I am excited to try the other products as well!
