I've never paid much attention to my brows other than plucking strays. Between my bangs and glasses, I never considered them a major focal point. They were ok, nothing special.
My brows are on the thin side, but shaped nicely. I recently saw a video on youtube that talked about how the bottom edge should be parallel to the top. For me, this meant filling in a small gap at the underside at the front end where brow starts. I tried it just for fun, and wow, it made a huge difference--looked like I had perfect brows, I loved it! I also needed to lengthen the ends by just one or two 'hairs', the result was surprisingly good.
My problem: my brows are black--not dark brown like my hair, but black, and I have light skin. Every brown powder/pencil I tried appeared reddish against that tiny area of skin that needs to be filled in. I don't want to use black, I think that would be harsh looking. Have others experienced this? I'm an 'old hand' and m/u, but new to the world of brows! Any suggestions? Thanks!
