I didn't use Clairol to color my hair. I used John Freida Foam and I have the Clairol Root Touch-Up and it says on the side of the box it will match the color I got from John Frieda. I am wondering if anyone has used something else to color their hair and used the Root Touch-Up and if you did does it come out as the same color as your hair??? I hope this makes sense.. And thank you for all of your help......

I can't speak specifically about matching the John Freoda, but so have used many different brands of hair color and the root touch up has always blended in with my color.

Root Touch-Up has always blended well for me too whether I've used store bought coloring or had it done at the salon.

Yes, I use Loreal Preference and have used various root touch ups. All was fine.

It's a great product, somehow matches and blends right in with one's color.
