Question for Tria owners, please.

I just received my Tria today and I am currently in the process of charging it. Here is my question. When I plug it in it shows it is filling up for a few seconds then appears to be full then after about 5 minutes the lighted display goes off. Is that what is supposed to happen? I haven't noticed a fan coming on either while it's charging. hmmm..?
