Question about doing a return

I just did my first return. I followed the instructions on the invoice and used the return label on the reverse. Do I need to do anything else? Do I need to make any kind of indication on the order details page on qvc.com that I've returned the item? One thing I noticed.....I mailed 6 other packages that same day in the same transaction (sold some things on eBay). All of those packages show a tracking history of progress they have made en route to their destinations. The return, however, shows nothing but the Acceptance at the post office. Is this normal not to show tracking progress after 2 days?

If you used the Q's return label you are unable to track it -- only the Q can track. You will have to check your Order Status online on QVC's website to see it the item has been received. The word "Shipped" will change to "Return" in the description of the purchase. I prefer to mail a return on my own as I can track it and it costs less unless it is a heavy item then I will use the Q's return label.

You just wait for the credit to be issued. After you've done it a couple times, you'll have an idea of how long it takes from your zipcode, plus processing time. Don't get alarmed that it's taking longer than you think it should. For me, I know not to check before two weeks have passed.

Thanks so much for the info. Bummer that I can't track the package myself. Wish I had known that! Another question....I purchased the item on Easy Pay. The second Easy Pay installment is due on 03/14/15. I'd rather that they not take payment #2 since I've already returned the item (even though I know it would eventually be refunded). If the return is not processed in the next 6 days, can I call and request that they not take another payment? If they can track the package, they can verify at least that it's been sent back and is waiting to be processed. Thanks!

did you put the paper inside the box that indicated why you returned it? I don't know about the q but shop hq sends you an email as soon as the package gets checked by whomever picks it up. hsn does that as well

They will continue to take the easy payments until the return is processed, at that time they'll refund everything back to your account. A customer service agent can explain everything to you and add a note on your account.
