Re: Question about Skinn Daily Defense SPF 30

No snark meant here. The reason I supplied the information on the Daily Defense was only to show its formulation differences and to clarify how Skinn has made it more usable and convenient. @emma bunting

Dimitri has formulated this one to be multi-purpose, light consistency, antioxidants, vitamins, hydrating, non-whitening so that it can be used over skincare; i.e. serums and moisturizers.  The user can then reapply over makeup throughout the day as needed.

It would be considered a physical sunscreen, except this one has been improved upon with the non-whitening, added-benefits formula for more convenient day-to-day use.

I think we're on the same page. Woman Happy  As with so many things, technology, along with the voiced customer need, has produced improvements for us.  This is Skinn's version.Woman Wink

Thank you so much for this info, @Gokat!!  I stand corrected!!!!  I have been using this wrong! I just went and watched the video....and you're absolutely right....Dimitri has designed this to go over your regular skincare regime! I thought I was wrong once before about something.............but I was mistaken. *wink*

Anyway...... nowI have a question for everyone....what does everyone think of Skinn's botanalift tinted moisturizer with SPF?   I'm thinking of switching to this for the summer so I don't have to use foundation.

Lol!  Well, the main thing is you're now using it correctly so you maximize the benefits and have success with it, @emma bunting!Woman Wink

The Botanilift Moisturizer with SPF has been a slow starter for Skinn but gaining in popularity now that the weather has warmed up. I'm quite sure the reason for this is that Dimitri introduced it in the winter and the shades run different (darker) than his foundations so just be aware of that, if you decide to order and pull back one level lighter to adjust.  Several of the Dazzlers on the main Skinn thread commented on how much they liked it, but some of those comments may be gone as the starter thread got poofed halfway through the weekend.  They particularly liked for the reason you mention...lighter for warmer weather and the SPF is a big plus.

I might suggest that you start a new thread with your question as I'm sure you'll get more info when people see it.  HTH'sWoman Wink

Re: Question about Skinn Daily Defense SPF 30

I used my Skinn SPF for the first time this morning. I applied it over my moisturizer and it let it dry for a few minutes before applying primer. It worked beautifully. Thank you all for your advice!
