Re: Question about Seasonals

Hi KJPA - yes, I always add CC as a leave-in after cleansing. WenGirl - I had heard that the seasonals were a combination between 613 and POM, so I was surprised that the SOB didn't work well for me. Maybe I will give the SHP a try - I can always return it if it doesn't work. HonnyBrown - what is the technique that you use with SOB to make it work for you? Just curious. And another question for everyone - do you use the seasonals for both cleanses or use other CC's along with the seasonals? Thanks.

Can't help much here, sorry! I have learned my hair doesn't like soy or protein, so as much as I love the scents of the seasonals, I can't really use them. I am mixing what I have with Fig or CA (the only 2 formulas that reliably work great) for first cleanse and then doing my 2nd cleanse with Fig just to use them up. My WEN window is very narrow (seaonals, kids', and most of the cores don't work) but when I stick with my trusty Fig and CA my curls are fantastic {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Re: Question about Seasonals

My hair doesn't respond so well to some of the seasonals. I did find Spring Orange Blossom more moisturizing than Summer Honey Peach. But they both smell AMAZING, so I will continue to use.

Re: Question about Seasonals

I find the soy products leave my hair to soft. No body. I am in love with bamboo green tea.

Re: Question about Seasonals

Try it for both cleanses. I usually am not a huge fan of the seasonals. They can sometimes make my hair dry and frizzy. Other times, I can get great results. Today, I did both cleanses with SHP. Surprisingly, the results were better than when I was using it as only a second cleanse. SOB and SHP are the sseasonals that work the best for me so far.

Re: Question about Seasonals

For me it depends on the seasonal..My hair did fantastic with the winter cranberry and not so great with the spring orange blossom.I am still going to try the summer peach

Re: Question about Seasonals

I found the Bamboo causes frizzing to my ultra straight hair as well. I do not know what the difference is but it is the first seasonal to cause that.

Bamboo green tea is not a seasonal, it will be available year-round. Just and fyi!

Re: Question about Seasonals

seasonals are a hit and miss for me so I have to try them to see if they will work, although now I can look at the ingredients and for a fewy, I was able to rule them out without actually trying them. The only two that work really well for my hair are SMC and SHP.

Arianny, I have thin/fine hair and the Seasonals all work equally well for me but, from what Ive read, most people seem to do better with some Seasonals and not so well with others.

I usually use TT for my first cleanse and any Seasonal for my second cleanse. But when I do use a Seasonal for both cleanses I get goo results as well.

613 and POM, which you mentioned your hair did well with, also work well on my hair. Since they work well on your hair, it sounds as though it's not the amino acid complex that is causing problems.

Unless you're a peach fan, you may want to skip SHP and just wait for the upcoming August and December TSVs where you can try the Seasonals out in a more cost effective way. Based on the cycle of TSVs for the past few years, I'm guessing that the composition for these two upcoming TSVs will look something like this:

* August TSV - 32oz core CC, 16oz Seasonal CC, 2oz RTM, and one other full sized product --$60

* December TSV - (5) 16oz CCs which will likely include SOB, SHP, Fall 2014 Seasonal, Winter 2014 Seasonal and POM -- $80
