Question about SSC eyeshadow quad

It's in the new kit with the little red bag.. those eyeshadows look beautiful, but if they're as shiny as the one in the celebration kit, I'd never be able to wear them. One reviewer (she was 56) said they were metallic but mellow and not too much to wear for a 56 yr. old. Any reviews? Thanks so much!
