Question about Michael Todd soniclear system

I just received my Michael Todd Soniclear cleansing brush head. I put the brush in the charger, but I didn’t see a light go on so I’m not sure if it’s charging. How do you know if it’s charging. It came already charged. Just want to make sure that the charger is working. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm thinking the light won't go on until there is capacity in the battery to accept a charge.
