Question about High Shine colors

Hi girls!

I was wondering if those of you who love the high shine colors are using primer with them. This morning I was using Pewter and I had first put on Steam so I would think that would make the primer less tacky feeling, but when I put the Pewter on it stuck to it and wouldn't budge or blend (Steam had blended). It was not even and way too shiny, I ended up putting a little more primer on my fingertip and smoothing out the color, and it look good now.

I was thinking without primer they might blend better, but do they stay all day? Thanks Smile
