Are eyelash curlers supposed to be used before or after applying mascara?  TIA

After, can get them gunkdt up.  But I sometimes do both, or nothing at all.

@Boehm Collector  I do both and have never had any problems. I have natural long lashes and always get lots of compliments on them from total strangers. Some of them even ask what kind of mascara I use.

Before.  A warmed curler works better, too, but you need to be super careful not to overdo it.  I warm mine up with my blow dryer for a quick second. Test the temp before applying it to your lashes.
