Question about Cerave Cleanser, or other suggestions

I'm really trying to get away from Purity Made Simple but I'm having a hard time finding another one-step cleanser that removes a full face of makeup. I haven't tried Cerave but I'm wondering if it's like Cetaphil, which takes NOTHING off my face. Does anyone use a Cerave cleanser that will take off a full face of makeup? Or have a suggestion for another cleanser that will? I have dry, sensitive skin and rosacea. The IT balm cleanser did a nice job of cleansing but made me break out. I'd love to find a drugstore option.

I too have sensitive skin and often use CeraVe. I did pick up a Boots No7 Melting Gel Cleanser that I like very much as well. Takes everything off including waterproof mascara.

Recently I had a ton of make-up to remove and used some old fashioned cold cream! I'd forgotten how well it worked and left my winter parched skin like velvet!

@StillRachB

I haven't found any cleanser that takes off my makeup without using something else first. I use one of those wipes to remove my makeup first and then follow by the Cerave cleanser. I use the foaming cleanser in the morning with my Clarisonic and then their SA cleanser in the shower at night after I remove my makeup. I don't have skin issues so I can't comment on the rosacea, but I've used all kinds of cleansers in my 55 years and the Cerave cleansers, serum, and moisturizer are the best things I've used.

have been using the 2 Cerave cleansers

one in the colder months and the gel one for the summer

I also discovered a Loreal or Olay that's good too

I will post the name later

as for a full face of MU have you tried using a wipe or micellar water first then a cleasner, I think that works the best, I don't think a face wash really takes of all the make up

Re: Question about Cerave Cleanser, or other suggestions

I have dry, sensitive skin and rosacea and use Albolene moisturizing cleanser to remove makeup. I apply to dry face and gently massage for a couple of minutes and remove with a  warm wet soft washcloth. Does a great job removing eye and face makeup. This 12 Oz cleanser is $10.00 at Walmart. Drugstores also carry Albolene. This last me several months.

@Iwantcoffee

Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to try it. I use wipes and they do a good job, but I worry about the tugging, especially around my eye area. This may get me away from the wipes.

@jackthebear

Forgot about the micellar water. I always run a cotton pad over my face at night before moisturizing to make sure all makeup is off, and it works great removing left over mascara!

Re: Question about Cerave Cleanser, or other suggestions

I decided to give the Capanelli makeup removing face cloths a try. I will think twice before ever buying another cleanser again.  I know there's a dupe sold at Bed Bath and Beyond and I can't vouch for that, but Campanelli is amazing and is made for sensitive skin. The cloths are softer than soft.

If I need to exfoliate or polish, I use separate products. I love these cloths so much I gave them as gifts....
