Question about Argon Oil

Josie Maran and Adrienne Arpel both tell the story about the Argon Oil tree ... how scarce the oil is ...

If the oil is so scarce and so hard to come by, where is all of this product coming from? ... other cosmetic companies also use Argon oil ... so is this just idle talk or a true fact? ...
