Hi ladies:

A few weeks ago there was a thread about perfumes and scents. Someone responded about a scent she loved that came in a unicorn bottle. What was the name of the scent? My grandmother use to wear this and would be interested in knowing where I might could locate some.

I guessed Avon, and found Avon Unspoken Ultra came in this bottle in the 70s. Is this the one?

I googled unicorn perfume bottle and Avon comes up for that brand.

I just showed my mother the picture she said it wasn't Avon because it was sold at Pic-N-Save. Thank you for the picture though. It's funny she brought this up and I remembered the thread recently, maybe we can find it:-)

@NativeJax I believe the one your grandmother wore is Toujours moi De Corday. The box shows a unicorn and some of the older bottles had a unicorn on them. I hope this helps. 

I should also add, I believe you can get this yet at Walgreens.

@ChynnaBlue Wow! Now this is going way back.  I grew up with Avon. My grandmother was purchasing it every two weeks and I do not recall this one at all. LOL! Good One!

Thank you Leeny! I will check Walgreens out:-) I sure would love to find it for my mom, I think she would enjoy the find. She mentioned it was the only scent her mother could wear because she was sensitive to smell:-)

Yes, it probably was Toujours Moi.  I wore that fragrance in high school and my family scoured every department store to find all the unicorn accessories one Christmas.  I still have them -- in their original boxes -- 40 years later.

It was Corday and then Dana.  I bought a bottle last year from (now defunct) drugstore.com and the scent has not changed.

In the 80s, Max Factor sold a Magical Musk by Toujours Moi that was in a unicorn bottle.

I grew up with Avon too, @Paulette-QVC. I remember all kinds of fun bottles. My mom had this one. Avon Precious Swan, also from the 70s:
