Question - Revlon Colorstay polish

I am new to polishing my nails because polish never stayed on my nails before. Now I have a few of these colorstays. My question is how long do you let each coat dry before applying the next -- it's the base coat, the two coats of polish and the top coat.

Also, someone mentioned that you are supposed to use two coats of base and two coats of top coat -- does anyone actually do all 6 coats of polish -- and is it necessary?

Basically I need to know how long do you wait between coats for it to dry.
