Question For Those That Color Their Hair and Use Wen

I've never used Wen. I watch the shows sometimes when they say that the model has not had her hair color brought out to the ends of her hair since using Wen. Can this be? My hair lightens from being out in the sun, even wearing a hat most of the time. What is your experience regarding your color treatments and using Wen?
