Question About Using WEN and the Gallon Size

First of all, I watched the WEN presentations, and Chaz Dean said for short hair use 2 pumps for the first cleansing, and 2 pumps for the second cleansing. However, the booklet that came with the WEN POM Gallon size said to use a minimum of 16 pumps for short hair. I have the 32 oz. bottle of WEN POM, and I have been using 2 pumps for both the first and second cleansings. When I use more, my hair gets extremely greasy, no matter how much I rinse my hair. (I have oily hair and scalp.)

Also, for those of you who ordered the gallon size, did it come with a pump? The pictures on QVC.com show the container with a pump; however, mine arrived today with no pump. I called QVC, and was told I would need to return the container, because they did not have a pump available for me. However, the POM gallon size is sold out now. Do you think I could contact chazdean.com and ask if they could send me a pump?
