For the past 6 or 7 years my nails have been peeling like crazy. After I joined BB I took some advice and bought Nail Aid Peeling Nail intense repair gel and a couple of Sally Hansen products. They worked for awhile then my nails went back to peeling. I was reluctant to try any other products but a while back I felt desperate enough to try Nailtiques. I went to CVS and looked over the products and decided to try Formula 2 Plus...and it worked. My nails have never been this nice and since it's been several months I feel that it will continue to work. They say, "As nails improve, transition to the next appropriate formula". So this is my question - do I next try Formula 2 or go to Formula 1? I want to continue with Nailtiques as not only does it prevent my nails from peeling and keeps them in great shape but it's also a terrific base coat. Anyone else using Nailtiques?

Re: Question About Nailtiques

Hi StarChild, another Nailtiques "believer" here. I'm glad to hear you also experienced success after nothing else worked -- that was also the case for me.

I would recommend you transition to Nailtiques Formula 2, which is the next step below Formula 2-Plus. Then, if your nails continue to behave like "normal, healthy nails", you could try Formula 1. In my experience, Formula 1 just isn't enough for my nails, and I stick with Formula 2 all the time. Your nails may be different, but many nail bloggers also use Formula 2 full-time.

HTH!

Thanx. I'll get one of the small bottles of Formula 2. I like that they come in 2 sizes.

Re: Question About Nailtiques

I am yet another "Naitiques" believer! I had salon nails for at least 22 years and got away from that about 5 years ago. My nails were a WRECK! I tried a LOT of different products without any success, UNTIL Nailtiques. This stuff is AMAZING. I am still on the Formula 2 plus, but, I think I may step down to just the formula 2 and see how that does. I agree with poster 1, my nails I don't believe would do as well with just the regular Nailtiques. So, for me, I will stick with the Formula 2. taking NO chances! Good luck and have a Good day.

Re: Question About Nailtiques

Hi Lola{#emotions_dlg.laugh}!!

Star--I would do whatever Lola.........says {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} about nails and the products she recommends. My nails were damaged from chemo and Nailtiques is what I used to get them back per her recs. FYI....in case you don't know about Lola--she posts a 'nail of the week' on this board on the weekend, that is FABULOUS!!!!

Re: Question About Nailtiques

Another firm believer in Nailtiques here! {#emotions_dlg.tt1} Nothing else worked for me. I've continued using the formula No. 2 for over two years. I've never changed formulas, even tho the instructions advise to do so.

One week I'll wear Nailtiques, the next week a different nail polish. I keep rotating. As long as I wear Nailtiques at least 1 week a month, my nails are fabulous!

Re: Question About Nailtiques

Thanx everyone. I intend to go to Formula 2 first then I'll decide if I'll even try Formula 1. I do my nails every week and will use it as my base coat as it does such a terrific job.

Re: Question About Nailtiques

I've used this product for years with great results. I always have it on as a base coat or worn alone. I don't see a difference between formula 1 and 2. I just grab whatever is available when I go buy it. Happy nails!!
