Re: Queen Camilla’s hair style

Is she rocking the latest beauty and clothing trends? No, but that's her business. I can't imagine any royal of her age dressing much differently. They all dress conservatively. I've seen other hairstyles that are more dated then hers. I think her hair looks nice and thick.

I like the style on Camilla.  And I think it suits her and support that she wears her hair just like she wants to.  Not everyone likes change and she appears to be happy with that style.  Works for me.

@Sugipine   That is a common British problem.  The US has had fluoridated water since the 1940s, for the purpose of lowering the levels of tooth decay.  In England, this was not prevalent.  Many artists have talked about that.  They have achieved their great smiles thanks to dental work!

I've always thought she wears wigs.  I don't like her or her wig, but she probably wouldn't like me either👑

Her hair looks good on her and very healthy. I really couldn't imagine her in a different style. It works for her.

This was a fun topic to read.

There may be some cultural issues also.  One of the stereotypical jokes about the English is bad teeth..  And I bet most of her clothing is designed to cover a less than perfect aged body.  Hats are a must, and the clutch purse prevents one from shaking hands with the public if one so desires.

I loved reading the books written by Queen Elizabeth's former dresser.

For a woman nearly 80 years old who works as hard as she does, do you expect her to look like a 25-year-old gymnast.  If Lady Di had lived to her age, how would she look!  Not very good depending on how her mother and father looked.  How about Princess Catherine's mother?  When she and Prince William married, she looked the picture of youth and now after these years she has a lot of worry and work on her body and she is showing her age.  If we don't at that age, it's a miracle from God.

Re: Queen Camilla’s hair style

I have read that most people keep the hairstyle of the best time of their life, whatever that was.

Didn't the Queen wear the same hairstyle all her life?  I thought her haistyle was odd.  Camilla's hairstyle I remember being popular the 1980s.

I change my hair all the time.  I am hoping that means the best is yet to come...

@Sugipine  - I was thinking the same thing.  Why doesn't she get her teeth fixed.  She's got access to the best.
