Re: Quality brushes That are Affordable? anyone?

I've been very happy with the EcoTools brush sets I've bought, the brushes are so soft! (I do not recommend their foundation brush tho, I think I bought that separately but it's been the only one to fall apart on me)

The only ELF brushes I like are the fan brush and smaller eyeshadow brushes.

You should go to your local craft store and check out what kind of paint brushes they have, I got a couple great eyeliner brushes for like $4.

Vivianna Does Makeup likes a Louise Young brush LY34 for foundation, Bobbie Brown sheer powder brush, and a MAC 187 bronzing brush.

Planning on trying the LY34

elf studio has some very good quality brushes.

I love Elf brushes!

I received a counterfeit Smashbox brush on ebay a few years ago and never purchased brushes again from ebay.

Sonia Kashuk brushes are very good and sold at Target.

If you have a costco near you, Kirkland/Borghese usually puts out a holiday set every year that has gone up in price from $19.99 to around $24.99 but as far as brushes go, they are great. The handles and design change yearly but the quality doesn't. My brush collection is mostly Kirkland and Elf and both brands have gone through numerous washes and are as good as day one. I have some Kirkland brushes that are over 5 years and still going strong.
