After looking at Philosophy Amazing Grace and my favorite, Pure Grace, in the parfum, spray spritz, etc. AG is nominated yet the reviews are not good since customers are finding the fragrance change with the new company. I have not purchased Pure Grace recently so I cannot review. How can a product be nominated with these kinds of reviews?

"Nominations" are products picked by QVC to promote. Don't assume the selection process has anything to do with customer ratings.

The winners are the same in certain categories every year so no surprise there. Yes, we should be able to nominate & vote for our winners.

Re: QVC's Beauty Customer Choice Awards nominees seems a bit odd.

Thank you everyone for explaining it to me. I kind of figured as much. As much as I like Nick Chavez products, they didn't pick any of the things I use. It's kind of not fair that we don't really get to be a part of the process of choosing the products we actually like. Thanks again.

Ibb38, I agree 100% with you....it's bogus and highly suspect. How can any of this be proven? But also agree with the idea that there are a few kits at great prices.

All I can say is EVERYTIME I looked up, Jamie from iT Cosmetics was on. What did she do to earn so much coverage today?

I agree, some of my choices weren't in the categories, so I didn't vote in that category. Kind of an odd way to pick favorites if you aren't asked to begin with. Pretty bogus.

Re: QVC's Beauty Customer Choice Awards nominees seems a bit odd.

I've always wondered how purity remains the number 1 cleanser when everyone is wise to all the irritants and toxins in it! actually purchased it because of all the accolades but was a bit miffed when I read the ingredient deck, then there's the whole thing about putting synthetic fragrances in your eyes!? I mean come on! clearly not a good idea! but yet they encourage you to do that every time they sell it. sorry for the rant but it just annoys me

Everything about these Customer Choice Awards is really just a marketing gimmick. Sadly, many who just occasionally tune in really believe all the hype. Every year we see repeats of the same old products (that are definitely not popular here on the BB ) win. It annoys me because it makes me feel like QVC just considers us all idiots - like we really buy in to the whole silly thing having any validity whatsoever. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Re: QVC's Beauty Customer Choice Awards nominees seems a bit odd.

There are some categories that I either skip, or just honestly vote for because I like the vendor better. For example, I use WEN and nothing else for hair from QVC. So, how do I vote for my favorite hair spray or treatment that is not made by Chaz Dean?

This is when I either skip the category vote or vote for the vendor I like best. What do you do in this situation?

Also, it seems like the list gets longer, and longer each year. Hmmmm, not sure, but it seems like more nominated category choices.

Same products but many are not winners when you read the reviews.
