I've started watching the beauty channel frequently.  I'm disappointed though that items I see on the recorded shows aren't available at the same price or the free shipping the next morning when I attempt to order.  (I'm not referring to the "deals"--just regular items.)  Think  I will just quit watching.

@Daysdee  That just doesn’t seem right. Once an item is reduced in price, on clearance or e/p or free shipping, it should remain that way. That’s like dept. stores having sales and then changing tickets back to old prices the next day. Don’t shop there either.

That seems exactly right.  A special offer is just that - a special offer. The price doesn't stay low after the offer is over and that's common in any store. It's also common on QVC with special offers, TSVs, Big Deals, and One Day Only prices. They also do that with easy pay and free shipping, which may be announced for a few hours, a day, or for an event and then go back to normal afterward. There's nothing unsual about that and QVC even states on pre-recorded content that prices mentioned may not reflect the price of the moment.

I will agree on a clearance price. QVC does put items on clearance for a while and has been known to raise the price again later and I haven't seen that elsewhere and that doesn't seem right.

@Alison Wonderland....or show an item with one day only price during a night time show. If you haven’t watched Q all day or looked on line, you only have an hour to purchase....if your size/color is left.

Been a Q shopper long enough (25+ years) to understand the TSV, one-time only, one day only, etc.  Just seems it's a waste of time to watch the recorded shows on Beauty channel since you just see the offers you missed.  That was my point.

I hate it when they pick an ODO that's already sold out in some sizes or colors. That doesn't feel like an ODO, that feels like an afterthought clearance.

Depending on where you are, you may have more than an hour. ODO and TSV prices expire at midnight Pacific time. I'm in the Central time zone and have sometimes ordered the TSV or ODO after midnight my time because I waffled all day - but yes, I miss out on sizes or colors.

But it cuts both ways. They may get fewer hours of a late night ODO, but they get the new TSV premiere in prime time hours. I'm usually asleep when a new TSV is being aired, so the west coasters may be the ones buying out my preferred size or color before I wake up and get to see my recording of the first TSV airing.
