QVC price plus $10 is what I basically think when ordering something from QVC. .....therefore....a $15 blouse on clearance is really a $25 blouse. The shipping is bad...very bad ...then add the tax. And my goodness....what if I have to return it?!
I like the products but the truth is that the shipping really has made me ALMOST stop shopping there.
Also, while I'm at it...sometimes I'm doing other things while TV is on and I just hear the QVC host and they say "you can get this for just $12.99"...I go to look and it's 3 easy payments of $12.99.....how misleading.
I know...I don't have to shop there. I'm about to quit...I think.

I agree with everything that you have said---we should stop buying until there are some changes made.

Totally agree....and they never add the shipping to the price. Most hosts would fail third grade math. If I like something I check online before paying their outrageous shipping. HSN seems to offer more free shipping plus sends $10 off cards. QVC could take a note....

Funny, I spent some time with my Sister last night who is from out-of-town. She commented on my pretty bag and I told her I purchased it on HSN on Clearance. I told her I think HSN is my favorite shopping channel because they often have a good sale and clearance. She said "QVC is so expensive now". I said, yes I am disappointed in QVC because you rarely get a discount and the shipping charges are always so high. We both agreed LOL, but I rarely look to QVC for any type of deal now.

I also use the QVC price + $10 formula ..... a lot of times, it's just not worth it. ![]()

You are paying for the convenience of shopping from your home, you just have to decide whether it's worth the extra money. I do not care to shop in stores, it takes a lot of time and the sales people are not much help with selling product, you need to know what you want and do your home work. Also, unless you shop at WalMart the stores are not happy when you return something and I don't want that hassle.

I totally agree with the OP. I do 95% of my shopping at the higher end department stores and designer stores (I live in New York). They are always having amazing sales which allows me to buy high end clothing, many time, at prices close to what QVC charges with no S&H. This past fall I purchased a gorgeous pleated genuine leather skirt( it was lined and as soft as can be) at Nordstoms which normally sold for $400 - the sale price was $99. I have purchased gorgeous all wool Ralph Lauren equestrian blazers for $190 reduced from $500. Around the holidays I purchased a few lovely chasmere pull over sweaters at Talbots for $69 (sale price) vs QVC's Isaac's cashmere sweater for close to $200 plus shipping. Periodically I may see a top, cardigan, hoodie, LCNY maxi tank dress that will work great for the beach while on vacation from QVC and I have purchased them. With the increase in prices and S&H (increased 3 times in 2014), I can get better deals on high end apparel & accessories in the better stores and on their websites (and most don't charge shipping). You really have to do your homework and be an educated shopper.
