But unfortunately (and I mean that even though I have benefitted from this) Q lets you increase the number of items you receive in A-D shipments after the first. If a lot of people increased their second shipment of this, they might not have enough for everyone who initially ordered. There must be a formula they use to determine how many of the 2nd shipments (in this case) they'll need with assumed cancellations and increases. But I'm sure they sometimes get it wrong. I don't think they should fulfill any "extra" orders until all the initial orders are filled, and maybe that's the way it works...or maybe that, like a lot of things with computers, is a lot more complicated than it should be.The A-D person should be first in line, then everyone else. How can they promise A-D, then claim they or sold out. I would think it would be the opposite. Some may cancel their order, and then Q ends up with more to sell. I can understand having your order delayed but not droped.

I think they had a computer (ANOTHER....) glitch....My 613 gallon auto delivery plan first said ""contact cs"" and now it says ""release"". I have no idea what that means other than it was released to ship?

From what I remember, Chaz said that the 613 gallons were going to be offered in Septembers only ( with AD again in March ),--they weren't going to be offered in June with the other gallons.
I could be wrong though.
I got my 613 gallon 2 days ago, thankfully. But I had a Philosophy set on AD shipment cancelled last month for no reason, and the next shipment date shows as July. I didn't complain bc I had enough AD's last month with WEN.

Sorry to hear that this happened to you.
It happened to me one or two years ago. I had a Lavender set with the Seasonal CC on auto-delivery. It was my third and last shipment. I also learned from checking my account that my A-D order was canceled. I think it initially said the order was "processing", then a week later I saw that it was canceled without explanation. I was extremely upset! I think sometimes customers decide they want more sets than they originally ordered, and QVC simply fulfills the order. Even if you are on AutoDelivery, you are out of luck. It's very disappointing. I would complain to QVC. It's unfair that they do this.

Remember when all auto-deliveries were not limited in years? Now they are all 1-or-2 year limited auto-deliveries.
My beef was w/Philosophy..they were always cancelling my auto-deliveries...then I would see the same product online under a new Item No. and (of course) a new HIGHER price.
So many of these AUTO-DELIVERY items are just a scam...we are not told on-air that the Q can cancel ""when-ever"" for ""whatever"" reason..basically.
Especially when the Host goes on-and-on about ""locking in"" a price on auto-ship--FOR ONE MORE SHIPMENT in 8 months.
:::sigh:::
just venting from previous auto-ship fiascos!

I need to stay away from 'over there,' but I did want to say thanks to you.
You are so welcome. I remember coming across this little guy in my lurker days and just had to keep him.

In addition, the shipping is so slow now, can you imagine how long it would take to receive anything at al??? Crazy!Sorry to hear that this happened to you.

UPDATE, UPDATE!!! Thanks for all the comments. I had a chance to contact CS today and as it was explained to me there was the proverbial computer glitch and some A-D's inadvertently got canceled. She apologized, said she would send to the appropriate personnel to handle and within 3 days, I should see the order re-instated on my account and subsequently shipped out.
She apologized for the inconvenience and is going to place a $10 credit on my account for future use! Now that is great CS!
