I recently ordered foundation on QVC on wait list. Seems like most of the items I get off the waitlist are in stock because they are returns. This doesn’t bother me so much for clothes or shoes, but I am not sure how I feel about returned make up. Does QVC sell beauty items such as foundation, if they are returns?

@GoodyShoes  I don't believe they are allowed to ship returns on beauty products.   Waitlist means as soon as Irene come back in stock they ship or sometimes people's checks aren't received in time and the item goes back into inventory.   Returned Beauty items should not be reused or sent to a customer

@GoodyShoes  -  QVC does not sell returns on beauty items.

@GoodyShoes , agreed that they are not supposed to so I wouldn't worry about it but based on how many orders slip by CS...dirty clothes, wrong item, etc., I would still check my item and if it appears used call CS and return.  But overall I wouldn't worry about a beauty item being a return.

@GoodyShoes   Returned beauty products are destroyed.

So unopened beauty products are destroyed also?  I can see an opened product, but buyers remorse, I would think they put it back in inventory.  ???  Still sealed or boxed?

There's a difference in "it might slip through" and be resold and being unlawful.

I once asked a customer service rep what they did with returned cosmetics. She said they are returned to the manufacturer.
