I got one of these for my 36 year old DD for her birthday---gave it to her in Nov and she will open the last door on her b-day which is the 23rd. She as really enjoyed it but mentioned how most of the make up is a medium shade--she is fair; also too many anti aging skincare for her. Good to know----maybe someone needs to come up with a way to be able to choose your shades------really, it is just a big beauty box--just a FYI

Re: QVC beauty advent calendar

@wagirl  I actually bought one for myself so I could try some of the samples (the presentation showed what would be in the box).  I quickly got frustrated with the doors, so I ripped the whole paper covering off and exposed all the goodies underneath so I could get at them!

That's a good idea Pam.  I hadn't thought about shades don't an issue.  I usually buy the fairest shade of everything.

Re: QVC beauty advent calendar

I almost always buy at least 1.

Was very surprised at how tiny the mascara was.

There are at least 5 things I won't use.

It seems like there are fillers - and more of them every year.

Not crazy getting the eye lash curler,

and the brush cleaner.  As well as all the tanners.

I'll donate the ones I won't use.

With that being said, I still think it's a pretty good deal.

Bought my 1st one, this year for $50, then they reduced the price to $40.

Bought 2 total.

I would be disappoint if I had bought it at $65 when it first came on.

Re: QVC beauty advent calendar

I just looked at the tracking for my 2nd one, and now the price is $55.

Let see it started at $65, then  $50, $40, and now $55.

Don't think I've seen one item with so many prices.
