Liberty already owns 35% of HSN and is buying the remainder of the company for a whopping 2.1 billion. They will remain two individual entities and will not "merge."

Wonder if that's why the HSN CEO accepted a position with Weight Watchers a couple of months ago.

Many companies own lots of other companies but that doesn't mean they all merge together!!  Why would they merge?
