QVC Red Carpet show-not so thrilling

[ Edited ]

Wondering why they did it?  All the hoopla for what. Alberti is trying, but interviewing bloggers, really?  Also, not the greatest hotel location-I live here.

Very different from the shows a few years ago.

That Plus they are up against the "Address"on the news channels...bet their sales are not as good with the poor timing.

I just tuned in. Shawns hair looks good, nice to see it out of her face. Anyway, not sure why they did either. The red carpet was two days ago....lol

And not even popular bloggers.  The beauty community on social media is HUGE -- and there are many very popular bloggers and youtubers.  I guess QVC couldn't get any of the popular ones.

Not all people are interested in hearing the "Address". i would watch anything to keep from watching it. Perfect timing for me.

@SeaMaiden. The folks at the Q think women are an unique species. During the Super Bowl, they scheduled makeup shows so the "men" could watch football undisturbed by us. What? Now the news channels have political info/speech and it's assumed we wouldn't be interested or maybe not understand that so they give us Red Carpet Beauty. I find it quite demeaning.

@kjae. I'm doing so well with my pledge to stop watching so many hours of QVC, but am recording this show. Will watch it tomorrow...either anything I wanted (but didn't need) will be sold out or easy pay no longer applies.

I don't do political things and was hoping for a nice "stylish" alternative. Was disappointing to me.

I'd say they're probably correct about the stereotype.  That doesn't mean all women are like that or even all women who love beauty products.

I'm with you, fortunately there are many other things to do, but I would rather watch paint dry.LOL.
