QVC Pricing - maybe a sign for the better?

I shop a lot of Q fashions because I find garments that I like AND they post the item measurements which helps me get a better fit, though much of the pricing is too high IMO for the value.  So I try to purchase items on sale when I can.

Unfortunately, QVC has odd pricing practices that we often complain about, where old inventory goes on so called clearance price, and then the smaller remaining inventory is later offered at a regular QVC price, which at this point may be higher than the old QVC price.

Well, I have had my eye on a Logo top that I like, but not enough to purchase at the QVC price, which I think is too high for what it is.

This is A469704, which is currently offered at the QVC price of $67.53.  This item has been in inventory for a long time, maybe a year or more, and I really don't know whether this price has gone up or down, but it has always been priced higher than I am willing to pay because, even though I like the style, it is made of 63% polyester/32% rayon/5% spandex, materials I am not a fan of, and I know I won't wear much.  So I have been patiently waiting for the item to be sold for somewhere in the $30s during the winter, when it is most likely I would wear it.

While this item has not been reduced in price as I have hoped, QVC did start offering yesterday the same style top in new pretty colors, A270329, for $73.50!

So I won't be buying the new colors either, since the price is even higher, but I decided to be happy that QVC at least had not raised the price of the old inventory to this new higher price...

@NYCLatinaMe I guess you haven't seen the posts about QVC not including garment measurements on a lot of their newer items.

I have.  I have also noticed that in the items themselves, since I shop for most of my fashions here.  In my experience, the items without measurements are retail items that QVC offers in its website.  QVC usually doesn't include the measurements for those, they probably don't have them, and I don't purchase those items unless I know the fit from past experience.  Sometimes (not often) QVC does not include measurements in new made for QVC items, but, more often than not, the information is added later.  If I am not familiar with the line, I will not purchase until I see the measurements, unless I know the line very well.

@Icegoddess The "Click Here" location has been changed but is now included with the item.  On the side of the page it says Description and has a + sign beside it.  If you click on the + you ge a full description of the product and at the end of the description is the "Click Here" for measurements.  I discovered this last week.

@AnjalenaQVC or @Beth-QVC or other moderator working today -- I meant to post this thread in Fashion, not Beauty, if you could please move the thread.

TIA

QVC's pricing strategy has always seemed strange to me, to say the least!

@KathyM23 , I'm only going by what others here have posted, not my personal experience.  I buy very little clothing on QVC.
