QVC Credit Card Breach ....Got Message ???

I dont know what is going on, all kinds of pop ups on this website that never had before. I know my nephew was on our computer yesterday putting in itunes etc. maybe he put in something he shouldnt. when coming to to boards a message popped up saying there was a security breach with qvc credit cards and to check our accounts ! I looked to see if there was any post about it and dont see one . Did anyone else hear about this or have it come up on their computer ?

Oh wow, never let anyone use your computer! I wouldn't ever let anyone use my computers.

Run a virus scan or get a new virus application and put a password on it and tell your nephew and all other visitors, nope you can't use my computer anymore.

Without a screen shot to show exactly what you saw, I can't say for sure. I agree that it sounds like malware and/or a virus, which you should address immediately and then change your password for any site that stores credit card info, like QVC might.

If you're not sure, you may also want to call QVC directly and ask them about your credit card and a possible breach.

These both sound like phishing/malware scams to try to get your personal/credit card/account information. I would never do something like that based off a popup. If a company is going to request that information they will send an email or contact you. When in doubt, DON'T, and call the company and ask them if they are really asking for this info.
