Probiotics - Need Suggestions, please

My mom was diagnosed with cancer last fall and is undergoing maintenance chemo. She takes 6 pain pills daily along with approximately 9 other pills. Her tummy is a wreck (she takes stool softeners and/or laxatives, but still has a lot of problems).

I told her that I would do some research on probiotics and that I'm more than happy to experiment for her.

Do any of you have a recommendation for a good probiotic?
