@Katcat1 They've been divorced for years.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@gidgetghI know you love her cleansers! Smiley Happy

I've never found a better cleanser -- from her original one to Reclaim, which I use at night. Also, I love her eye things and a few other pieces.

I've always gotten, well, let's just say, acceptable, service from her catalog. If they ever made a mistake, they were more than happy to correct it.

I think her ex husband, Dr. Harry Glassman was on either Evine or HSN selling skincare products not too long ago.......I remember hearing the name and I paused for a few minutes to check it out!

thanks for the heads up. I like her skincare but REFUSE to get sucked into that Guthy Renker (sp?) web!!

@Jayhawk Girl- I've ordered the cleanser from her club for years with no problems. What "web" are you talking about?

i checked Amazon. I'm glad to see the 4 in 1 cleanser being sold there as that's what I order. At $22, it's more expensive than ordering it from her club.

@gidgetgh I meant "web" as in web of total confusion and chaos.  I ordered some stuff and once they had my credit card, it was almost impossible to cancel it.  Maybe I just had a really bad experience....??

I love my family, my fur boys, my Jayhawks and accounting!

I struggled with G-R as well.    Gave up trying.

I am not a beauty junkie, but I loved her line.

I'll have to go to the other site & check it out, hope it's new, fresh product & not stuff from a warehouse.

I thought at one time her original line was discontinued & replaced by Reclaim.

I have been ordering for 12 years! from the GR club and can only say very positive and wonderful things about it. I always order the 10 piece set so my products cost 13 dollars apiece- for any product in the catalog. sometimes I order 4 of the eye amazing serums! you can customize however you want.

I was late calling in my request to change my customized order this time and they sent me a label to return the kit for free and also credited the shipping to me. and it was my fault.

I think PS and GR are really fair and honest and a good company to deal with. Plus I talked to a rep that was my age ( 65) and she gave me a lot of information and some good tips. She also said that some women have ordered just the cleanser, day and night cream for years and have beautiful flawless skin.

Victoria's husband was never involved with her cosmetic business.  Principal Secret was formed from products Victoria's Beverly Hills esthetician, Ida Thibiat was using on her.  Ms. Thibiat partnered with Victoria to have a celebrity face (front man) for the company.

I really like the original formulas of brand, and in 1990, before skincare exploded within the cosmetic industry, it was better than most of what was in the stores.  At that time I was fine with being on auto-delivery and receiving Principal Secret every 2-to-3 months.  As more new skincare brands came to the market and existing companies expanded their skincare, I wanted to try more stuff, and I began to have a lot of PS products stockpiled unopened.

The Amazon prices are like they were on QVC... much higher for a single item than buying sets from Guthy-Renker.  If the original cleanser and enzyme mask were still available I probably would have never stopped buying.  I felt and saw a difference in my face using those two products (smoother, cleaner, softer, brighter).  My skin never responded to the Advanced and Reclaim products in a way which I could actually say it's special (for me).

@fourpaws56 How long did you search for the photo?  She does not have any makeup on and the sun is in her eyes.  If she looks  this bad with makeup then she needs to fire her husband!    Cat Very Happy

Her former husband was on QVC with the SkinClinical light therapy system.
