I am looking for a primer with SPF.  Does anyone have some recommendations?

I don't have any recommendations, but suggest you go online to beautypedia.com for reviews on makeup/skin care products.  Remember you will have to use a lot of primer to completely protect your skin from the sun.

I use Laura Mercier primer with SPF 20, daily on face and neck and back of hands.  I've use this one for years as it doesn't bother my sensitive skin.

I will use Bobbi Brown SPF 50(not sure it's a primer, but works under makeup) when we are on vacations where it is sunny, and of course a hat!

@isaboo

I received a sample of the Coola Daydream Mineral Primer plus SPF 30 in my Birchbox or Ipsy subscription a few months ago. Loved the matte finish and actually bought a bottle!

Kind of pricey and for $42.00 it doesn't go very far Woman Frustrated

Good stuff though. Impressed with the finish..

@Fifi1 & OP. I've tried the one from BB w/ spf 50, but very expensive for the little amount in tube. Since all her moisturizers are also primers, I use her Tinted Moisturizing Balm SPF. Two steps of skincare taken care of + a little bit of evening out of color. Foundation can easily go on top if necessary.

@isaboo - I like this one from Laura Geller. My dermatologist says SPF30 is enough!

I like Dr. Dense day cream. It's a multi task product that is primer, treatment and SPF.

Paula's Choice actually just debuted a primer with SPF.  I received a sample but didn't care for it (for me).  My skin tends to be on the oiler side and I usually use Paula's Choice Shine Stopper Instant Matte Finish under my makeup as my "primer."  That being said, I think if you're not as oily, you may really enjoy Paula's new primer.  It's clear in color and going on very smoothly.  I liked it after I first applied; it just didn't keep my skin under control for as long of a time as her Shine Stopper product.
