@hendersonmakes a brilliant point. None of these cosmetics with SPF added are enough real protection if used as you would for their original intent.

Any derm will tell you that you need to reapply liberally and often...

 

When Jay Emanuel was asked why he didn't produce a foundation with skinscreen he said it was because he didn't want the user thinking it was enough....

 

One needs to be using a separate sunscreen for ultimate protection.

@isaboo Smashbox has a primer with spf 20.

What do you all do around your eyes?m I am so allergic to something in sunscreen that it can't be anywhere even rempotely near my eyes or they swell up horribly. I've already had them swell closed and I could not see - had to be in the hospital to get IV medication.

Bare Minerals primer with SPF is really nice. I think it has SPF 30.
