Anyone have suggestions for a good primer to wear under tinted moistirizer that smoothes skin, covers redness, pores and keeps makeup on? Nothing seems to work on me. Thanks!

I mix my primer in with my tinted moisturizer. I don't have a favorite. Have used Laura Gellar, Smashbox, Skinn and prob a few others.

I use a first light coat to cover dark spots and uneven tones of skin and then my second coat is a Revlon liquid tinted makeup. I've tried Geller's spackle and that was way too heavy for a first coat. The one I use was popular decades ago and almost impossible to buy - have to locate a 'private dealer'. So I would suggest you buy and try a light colored liquid makeup from the drug store so you can really see the true color with your eyes - and experiment with a thin overall your face coat and then apply the final darker makeup.
Good luck

IMHO Smashbox is still one the best.
