Pricing Question Eyeshadows

If Bobbi Brown charges $50 plus for an eyeshadow pallet and Maybelline let's say charges $8 for a similar pallet, do you believe the difference is profit?

But you also have to figure Maybelline and the store selling it is making a profit so how much do you really think a pallet of eyeshadows really cost?

I'm thinking no more than $2 no matter the brand.....your opinion?
