Does anyone use Prevage (idebenone)? I've not seen any mention of it on the boards in a long while.

Didn't Isomers introduce an idebenone product a while back?
Have you used any idebenone products? What's the benefit?

Yes---I just used up my last drop. I liked it, and it lasted FOREVER.

I used to use this and made my skin glow. Somehow I got away from it. Just too many products calling my name.

I was thinking about alternating Prevage and vitamin c in the mornings.

I really like Prevage and do see a difference when I use it. I also seem to get sidetracked with other things then remember how much I enjoyed this or that. I keep intending to get back on it.
A tip for anyone buying it ............ EA only sells the .5 strength while the Professional Prevage strength is 1. If you google it, you will find a few sites that sell the Professional strength for close to 50% less than EA's retail price. That can amount to close to a $70 savings.
When I did some research on antioxidants some years ago, idebenone had the highest rating of all antioxidants (at 95%,) including C,E and many others. I'll try and see if I can locate that info but it might be on my old computer which I did not download everything from.

You often hear so many of the beauty vendors say that whatever they are using is 10 times more potent than Idebedone. I just used 10 as an example, but they all say their magic bullet is much more effective.

Manuela introduced Idebedone about 10 years ago, hers was a yellow cream, she only had it in her line for a very short time.

I used it a long time ago. It gave me the strangest breakouts I've ever had. These really intense painful pressurized pimples. It was gross. So I stopped, then started again and the weird pimples came back.
I've experienced mild breakouts from creams that were too rich (such as strivectin and creme de la mer) and from sunscreens. This was different and not something I could tolerate. I'd rather use other antioxidants that don't give me side effects.

I tried it a few years ago. Thank goodness I did a patch test on the inside of my arm, as suggested. I had a rash the next morning. It's one of the few items I did return. I knew I couldn't risk using it on my face after the reaction I got. I usually don't have a reaction to anything, but something in it didn't agree with my skin.
