Re: Prescription Tretinoin (generic Retin-A) alternatives

Can anyone who got this from the Pharmacies that are recommended give me the ingredients for the cream version of this + where you got it, so, I know the ingredients on the tube you got? I've tried writing to a couple of the recommended companies mentioned here to try to get the ingredient deck + I didn't receive any replies. I would like to try a couple of the places that are recommended here to buy it. I have some extreme allergies to some preservatives, that's why I want to know. Thank you very much.

You can buy Retin A on eBay...without a prescription. I have purchased it, and it works great. It is also dirt cheap.

What seller do you buy it from? Thanks.

Frannie, I purchased mine from healthnbeautyexpress....very inexpensive and shipped quickly.

Where does this ship from + do you have the ingredients for the tube you bought please.

Can the sister who mentioned ebay please post the vendor. And who or what is the Tara site, can someone please post that information.

The tara site is posted in the second post above - I ordered 2 tubes of the .025% - very reasonable price plus 15% off with code save15. And free shipping.

Thanks MidNight! (the sister who posted it.)

How do they sell it with no prescription? They're based in California.

I'm guessing, but I think they are based in southern CA and maybe the orders actually ship from Mexico? You know, a shipping facility just across the border?

ETA-I guess I'm going to find out where it ships from. I ordered for the first time, so I will post when it gets here...or maybe someone else knows and will chime in??

Thanks - I had the same thought - buying from Mexico. Which is fine. I bought it from Medsmex Pharmacy (if I'm remembering right) years ago - wish I had kept it up.

Jeanne Louise, The goodrx.com coupons are not percentage off coupons. They offer a reduced rate that applies to a particular store only. They change from time. Late last year the CVS price was closer to $70.

That's awesome! For what percentage?

Jean, I just picked up my 45gram .05% cream today at CVS for $57.00 using my GoodRx coupon.

I also picked up a 45 gram .05% today at my local CVS using the Good RX coupon - my cost was $58.00. Many thanks to those that recommended using this coupon!

Great news! I use the 0.1% so mine is about $10 more, but still a crazy good savings over the list price.

GoofyMom50, It shipped from Thailand. The active ingredient is Tretinoin .05%. I cannot read the inactive ingredients because they are in another language, but trust me...it works!
