Bare Minerals Ready powder is no longer available but a new line called Bare Pro replaced the Ready foundation. Supposedly it's more accurate to people's skin colors than the Ready line was.

Thank you so much everyone!

I forgot to mention that I'm 61 years old with fair, dry skin and I wear "Fairly Light" in the BE original foundation. Do you know what colors would coorospond with that for the foundations you mentioned? Pur, L'Oreal, Halo, LG, etc?

You would best be swatched or color matched while there. Bring the foundation you currently use so there is some starting point for the clerks.

I have been using Bare Mineral loose powder foundation for many many years. I have tried so many foundations and everyone has broken me out.

I tried that bare minerals new pancake powder foundation with talc. oh my gosh, was a mass of pimples within 4 weeks of beginning the new foundation. took forever to get my face back to normal.

just tried IT cc foundation (gray flat compact). well that was a bust for me. pimples began to come out.

I have no idea what I am so sensitive to but something is making me break out. Yet bare minerals loose powder i have no problems. will continue to use Bare minerals forever.

I have to use moisture cream daily before I apply my foundation.  The loose powder doesn't set in my fine lines.

@ChynnaBlue, I totally agree that 9 shades pales next to the 20+ shades offered by several other brands, but it was a step in the right direction for Laura Geller.  Furthermore, it is a nice foundation, so for someone shopping for a new powder foundation it's worth taking a look at in case one of those shades works out.

@travelin grandma I did try Smashbox Halo & liked it, but the problem with it for me is that it oxidized.

I've tried others, but always go back to the one that works the best for me.  BARE MINERALS.  Love the original version.  I'm 63 and it makes me look my best.  Lots of compliments on my skin.

I've been using bare minersls for many, many years and just switched to IT Celebration illumination compact foundation and just love it. One thing though, the medium in illumination is more true to a medium than the regular celebration foundation.(too light)

@JuLee,     The foundation that seems really nice is at HSN.  It is a powder that turns to cream on face.  A light cream (not thick).  It's by that guy Jay.  I cannot think of his last name.  He offers many different undertones.  I was impressed with his demonstration last week.  Cat Very Happy  His product could be at ULTA but I do not know that.  Cat Very Happy

I've been wearing Purminerals 4-in-1 foundation for eons. It's my favorite. Covers well and never makes me look dry.
