Maybe that’s why there are so many botched surgeries.
One MUST look for a surgeon who is certified through the
American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
The difference is level of extended education.

A good motto: All things in moderation.
I think we can all give examples of famous people who had too much. There is as lady locally in a nearby small town who my husband and I refer to as the cartoon lady, because she doesn't look like a human being anymore. (No, not to her face .)

Nay for me but Yay for those that want it.

I haven’t seen the phrase ‘plastic surgery’ in such a long time.
There’s a difference between the two.
And no, I don’t have an issue w/ cosmetic surgery.
I see the phrase "plastic surgery" all the time. It's not unusual...

I tend to respect the advice of someone like @Vivian who has walked the walk.

Hi all
As someone who just had ankle and leg surgery , I would say no, unless it was absolutely necessary . There are so many risks with anesthesia and complications that can happen even in good situations . .

I guess I hang out in neighborhoods where cosmetic surgery
is the proper phrase for elective surgery.
But as I stated before, not knowing the distinct difference
is the reason why there’s botched elective surgery.
Cosmetic vs plastic surgery are 2 complete different things.
and the results will be 2 complete different outcomes.
A competent surgeon for elective surgery will be certified
through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Good luck.

I say yes, if you can afford it, and the doctor is wonderful .
But there is a limit. So many people get the lips done, and then they end up looking as if they have been punched in the mouth. Or face pulled back so much that they look like the joker.
I am all for making YOU feel better. But limits for sure.

For myself, no. No desire.
