Pink Lipstick Trend for Spring 2013

I just read a couple of online articles which said that pink was trending as a lipstick shade for Spring 2013? The pinks I saw in the pictures were fuchsia pinks (which look rotten on me), but another article from the NY Times claimed that all shades of pinks were being seen.

I'm usually NOT a trend follower, but I thought a nice new pink lipstick might be fun.

May I have any suggestions?
