My nails have not been great lateley. I polished them a few times and that just ruins them. I saw the Gel coat on QVC2 and looked at ingredients...formaldehyde and alcohol....no thanks.

@chiclet Most nail hardners have “awful” ingredients. In my profession, putting my hands near acid, filing and sawing silver, setting stones....painting & constant hand washing, unfortunately I have no choice.
The Perfect Formula works for my nails and the deal on Q 2 is definitely a great buy. The crystal files alone are worth the price of admission.

Recommend wearing playtex gloves whenever household cleaning. No longer go to nail salons last year though my nails healthy and long unsightly cuticles. QVC sells T.I.P.S nail products. No more over grown cuticles. Then tried one for toes.. same results. My hands and feet have beautiful natural healthy finish. Tried oils not the same results. Between T.I.P.S and Emoji!! Happy nails.💅 😍

I recommend taking Biotin 1000 mg daily. Your nails and hair will love you for it.

I purchased the Pink Gel a few years back and really enjoyed the results on my nails. The problem was that the gel in the bottle dried out completely within 2 months and I had to throw it out. Very disappointing. Although I went past the 30 days, I was able to get a refund after explaining to CS how the product completely dried up. So, it was nice while it lasted.

I have said this for years about their ingredients, not good!!
I use Sally Hansen Miracle Growth Treatment, gold botle, gold top, does contain alcohol, but my results are amazing!!

I would not use any with that ingredient. I was surprised to find out that Loreal Nail Polish is free of formaldehyde. Not sure why any company would still put this ingredient in the products!

I've revisited TIPS lately. I haven't seen it presented in a long time, it was a nail conditoner that was super effective for me. I remember it being a staple on the morning show- the vendor banging her nails on a piece of wood! It's mostly soybean oil - and a variety of parabens! Something about it works, though- I've tried just oils on my nails/cuticles and it wasn't nearly as effective.

well that explains why it actually made my nails even worse!

@Sweet_Serenity, I have always wondered what the 'secret' ingredient is in TIPS that makes it work....I have used it before and my nails did look better, but not great.
I handle paper all day. long, which is tough on hands, very drying, let alone the other 'stuff' I do on a daily basis, and then once summer gets here, working in the yard...and I do wear gloves when outside.
My girl friend has beautiful long nails, if you didn't know you would think they were fake, I am jealous of her nails, ha!!
