I asked yesterday if anyone could remember Pierre Cardin cosmetics from way back when (around the late 60's).
No one could remember anything but the fragrance. The makeup is still available on websites such as luxuryparlor.com, though not as plentiful and now mostly availble in Europe.
Years ago, my Mother and her best friend made reservations to go to "A day of Pierre Cardin" as Neiman Marcus salon. Everyone got a complete skin and cosmetic makeover. Well, my Mother and her friend wound up buying everything that was used on them! They adored the stuff. When it was time to go back to buy refills and replacements for what they had used up, Neiman's had stopped carrying the line. They looked everywhere and couldn't fnd any. Boy, were they bummed out and felt like they were duped.
