Well, last July there were a group of us who bought a 6 month supply of Phytoceramides, most of us bought ones made from sweet potatoes and not wheat. Well, the bottles should be almost empty by now, mine included. Just wondering if any of us are planning on reordering, and what results we have seen, thanks!! Happy holidays!!

Re: Phytoceramides Revisited

I'm still on the last bit of the NusaPure bottle which is the third bottle of it I've taken. I would say I really can't say if sweet potato ceramides are any better or not than LipoWheat. For me I think they moisturize my skin about the same. I have three bottles of the EarthMed brand ready to take. What I like most about the sweet potato is the price...you just can't beat it.

How about you? @Shelbelle

Re: Phytoceramides Revisited

Same for me, my Earth Med is just about on its last leg!! My upper thighs feel much softer, and a bit smoother. I guess for $14 for over 6 months supply, you cant go wrong. I also take Verisol collagen pills and just started taking 100 mg hyalauronic acid daily too, good for skin and joints.

Just to clarify, I take one Earth Med a day, 350 mg.

Re: Phytoceramides Revisited

I take two caps (700mg total daily) of the NusaPure. That's what it says to take on the bottle. So I'll continue with that dose when I get to the EarthMed.

Re: Phytoceramides Revisited

I switched to the Earthmed brand after seeing them mentioned here. I loved what I took but could no longer pay the high price..I am pleased with the Earthmed, my skin looks good & they help my dry mouth, (my other brand did also but much higer price, they were wheat based)

Yes, remember we discussed this last summer, Nusa Pure is the only brand that says to take 2, we decided it was just a marketing ploy for them to get you to reorder sooner.

Re: Phytoceramides Revisited

The question for me is... would I ever stop taking a phytoceramide supp? Heck NO!  Even if the sweet potato were no longer available, I would still buy the LipoWheat. I just won't go without some kind of phytoceramide. My skin gets so dry if I don't take it....so I'm hooked for life.Woman Very Happy

I was in the group that started taking phytoceramides.  Best thing ever for my dry skin.  I also buy NusaPure from Amazon (700 mg, 2 caps a day, 200 capsules per bottle) and mine last 100 days or a little over 3 months.  I just reordered for the third time and should be expecting my bottle soon.  I don't think I'll ever be without phytoceramides.  I can see a difference on my whole appearance.  For now, NusaPure is the best money can buy, but I am open to try other brands if they are as good or better.

Earth Med sold on ebay is same ingredients, for a lower price, only 13.95 for 200, buy two bottles for even less, says to take one daily, so that is all I take.
