I decided to order it since I cannot find hardly any bad reviews which is really unusual.  I just wish I could find reviews from an older crowd.  I know as I have gotten older a lot of makeup makes me look older not younger.  Makeup can really emphasize what you are trying to hide.  I hope this works for me.

@chiclet

I just got the Renewd Hope Skin Tint & I have used it a couple of times.

I'm 57 with combo/oily skin that breaks out from everything.

I have been using Renewed Hope In A Jar for day & night so I took a chance on the Skin Tint.

Shade 3.5 Sand matches my skin perfectly, so that made me happy.

I like the coverage. I'd call it light/medium coverage. It has a natural finish.

It doesn't look heavy at all on my skin. I do set it with powder, but it lasts all day & still looks nice at the end of the day.

I have applied it with my finger, I don't usually like the way foundation looks applied with a brush (Did you get the set with the brush?), but the 2nd time I did use the brush that came with it & I really like it.

I don't think it's a must have, if you didn't get it. The application wasn't better than with my fingers, but it's fun to use the brush. Makes me feel all makeup artist like.

Forgot to say Dusty that your skin sounds like mine but I am older.

I am thinking of purchasing this also. I have read good things about it, but most say the brush is useless..I have enough foundation brushes and sponges already, so will probably order without brush!

Re: Philosophy skin tint...

[ Edited ]

I got a sample of this and liked it so much that I went out and bought it at a local dept. store.  My 59 year-old dry skin loves it. I rarely wear foundation so I didn't want anything that gives a heavy coverage and this does not at all. My skin looks totally natural, with a slight glow to it.  Doesn't settle in lines at all. Blends well with a Sephora foundation brush I have. I've also used it with the Beauty Blender. Both work great.  No shine at all. Have been using it for about a month now and am really pleased with it.

I got mine yesterday and was so dissappointed.  As soon as the mail came, I washed half of my face (had it cc on other side) and applied it to clean skin.  It looked greasy and never set.  It was still sticky after 4 hours.  I don't have a lot of fine wrinkles but I have forehead lines and line from nose to mouth.  I wiped it out of those wrinkles and would look again and it would be back in them again.  I put in on again this morning on clean dry face and it felt so tacky.  I took the blow dryer to it and it still was tacky.  I put some It powder on top of it and that got rid of tackiness and shine so I will see how it wears.  So far it is not for me.  I think I just want a foundation that makes me look better than with no foundation on and so far I cannot find it.

@chiclet I use Physicians Formula BB cream. I put moisturizer on before applying it. I like it,just enough coverage without heaviness. Good price at CVS. If you don't like it they will take it back.

@chiclet  I was interested in again trying the renewed hope in a jar skin tint since they introduced the new shade Almond.  I liked the formula but was disappointed as the beige shade was too light.  I'm hoping to get some feedback on anyone who has tried the shade Almond.

What you describe in this recent post is what myself as well as many others are looking for - a skin tint that doesn't look like foundation, just makes me look like I have good skin.  I thought I would mention I have just recently tried First Aid Beauty's Skin Tint.  It truly gives you a natural finish, not matte nor dewey and it wears really well.  It has an SPF30, extremely light weight (fluid) and has some nice skin loving ingredients.  It comes in light, medium, tan & dark.  By other color cosmetic standards I would say they run a little dark as the medium is just perfect for my medium-olive complexion.  The undertones for all shades are on the warm side.  You might want to give this product a look-see.

I'm sure you're aware of Perricone's No Makeup line, one no makeup foundation and the other no makeup foundation serum.  The serum is extremely light weight with again a natural finish but this FAB skin tint is just a bit heavier with same finish.  Also, the Perricone is at a higher price point - the FAB is pretty reasonable.
