I like this product, However, I've never heard anyone say why it its called "purity" No one has ever bragged about what is NOT in it. So why the name?

Marketing. Plain and simple. It helps get people to buy it. Purity Made Simple is one of the least pure cleansers out there, but hey, it sells big time on QVC. They have never claimed it to be pure, so that's why they can name it that and not get into trouble. You cannot take branding and labeling seriously; must always do your own research about products.

@Littlebear, I stopped using it a few years back because if I opened my eyes, I experienced burning from the product in my eyes. They claim it does not affect the eyes but it did for mine.
