Looks like Philosophy may have once again changed the formula for Purity. For a while, QVC took down many of the purity products and this morning its back A670046 and A670044. Unless the ingredients are listed incorrectly under both, it appears as if they have removed the isopropyl alcohol and phenoxyethanol. I checked the Philosophy website and they have not updated their ingredients deck yet. So.....is Philosophy going to address the formula change?
I noticed a change in the scent with my last order. I've used Purity for over a decade, always my favorite that didn't burn my eyes. My current supply doesn't smell the same and I've noticed it burns my eyes. Guess I'll be on a quest to find a replacement but I'm not looking forward to that. Sad to see what philosophy has become especially since I've been singing their praises for so long.
I used to love Purity, but stopped using it when it burnt my eyes. Now I use the Campanella makeup remover cloths - they do a good job and don't burn my eyes. Plus, they're reusable and clean up easily with soap and water. I still use Philosophy's exfoliating lotion. Although the formula's changed, it still works well for me.
Great that the alcohol is gone, but the phenox is a good preservative, hopefully they changed it to a different one, maybe more natural like Japanese Honeysuckle, hopefully they didnt go back to parabens
