Philosophy New Shower Gel formula

A655262 is presented as a new shower gel formula and it's Amazing Grace "exclusive" to QVC. They say it's the "classic" icon that started Philosophy. Amazing Grace was my favorite Philosopy fragrance but when Coty bought the brand many of us ladies complained that the formula was changed in some way and didn't last as long. I have seen many many posts regarding the change and asking Coty to return to the original formula.

Could this be the original formula they are bringing back due to so many complaints ? Did Coty finally listen to the complaints ?

It will be WONDERFUL if this is in fact, the old scent we knew and LOVED❤. I would receive SO, so many compliments whenever I wore it! Everyone wanted to know what that alluring/intoxicating fresh scent was, and where could they purchase it. Like other fans, I used my final bottle very sparingly so it would last a LONG time! The subsequent formula was a disappointment, SO I hope this is in fact, a return of the treasured original formula!🤞🤞

I became a huge fan of Summer Grace.😁

If it is a return of the old favorite, GOOD for Coty, and score one for the consumer!!❤

I'm channel flipping and caught this presentation toward the end. So I didn't hear about it being exclusive. While this was always my favorite fragrance (back when I wore fragrance), I quit buying the new version because by lunchtime, it had faded to nothing. I almost put this in my cart but didn't and may reconsider around Xmas time because they will definitely have many offers and better pricing for sure. I will read reviews from this configuration and see what they report.

I used to get asked allllll the time - what was I wearing because I smelled beautiful! The supply officer at work used to follow me around just to get a whiff (I know weird) and I told him maybe you can buy some for your wife (and follow her around instead 😆).

@Goodie2shoes , the new formula is suppose to be more hydrating, and free of sulfates. They did not say any changes were made to the scent.

By the way, the new formula is available on Philosophy.com also.

If it's anything like the 25th Anniversary Amazing Grace parfum, that had a different description than the AG 2 pack Anniversary special that was being offered, it won't be the original formula.

I was duped, bought the higher priced 1 bottle = $94 and the scent was exactly the same as it always is. It is advertised as a longer lasting concentration. Believe me, it was not!

For that reason, it was returned and I ordered the 2 pack, priced at 84.98 which is exactly the same, and you get 2.
