I just received A639876 - set of two Microdelivery.  How the heck do you get the pump to open?  I have been turning this for 20 minutes and it still does not open.  Anyone?

Remove the lid. Take pliers and grasp the tube right on the underside of the lid. Then unscrew the pump on top while grasping the tube underneath. You can do without pliers, but it's slippery.

I agree that many of these types of pumps need to be held by the bottom part of the pump, typically the black part, while turning the top.  Often just holding the tube while turning the top or just turning the top itself won't work.

Experiment with holding different parts of the entire pump while turning the top.  I've never found a pump that won't open doing some form of this.  Good luck!

Sorry, I can't help...  I don't use it anymore but back when I did it was a struggle ~ to the point of breaking and having to find another pump from a different product. Good luck!

I have had trouble with those pumps too.  But gosh I love that stuff.  I use it morning and night.  Frankly, I will just transfer the working pump from one bottle to the next.  That being said, when the bottle is getting low, sometimes the product is too thick to come thru the pump, so I end up dumping it in a lidded container and using up the rest of it that way.

Push down on the pump and turn - that's how I do it.

Well ladies, I have tried everything still cannot get it to open.  I will just open the top and get some out that way.  I have so many of these types of pumps and not one gave me so much trouble as this one.

i used this yrs ago and loved it.. but i havent bought it since because people have said its not the same and the formula changed??

Sorry you were not able to get it open @lovesallanimals .  Did you try both pumps?  

I've got this big 32 oz bottle in my shower.  I love washing my face with it.  Leaves it so smooth and clean.

I also have a second bottle under my sink.  It's taking me forever just to use the first one!  

I hope you're able to figure out a way to get it opened.  Seems like a pain not using it with a pump.  Take care.

I never used the pump. I use the regular opening and tip the bottle. JMO but I never purchase the microdelivery in the large containers. They do last a long time.
